Suns of Anubis was an exclusive guild. We all started off on a PVP server, we came to Shadow Council to interact with a friend of ours (to kill him, bahahahaha) and just never left.
Our founder, SkyDeMan is a strong believer in honor, respect and integrity. What was once a guild reserved for close friends and family has now opened its doors for all to enjoy. We pride ourselves in helping other players, whether they are in our guild or not. We like to play fair, even if it means we lose out. Play well... Play Fair, nice guys may finish last, but at least we get to finish. Our primary focus is to have fun and enjoy the game.
We're here to offer whatever help we can, whether you're in our Guild or not. Opening our doors to all brings in new and exciting adventures for us all to share!
Questing, Leveling, working on your Professions, Instances, Heroics, Guild challenges and Raids.
We're a family type guild, there are poeple of all ages in our guild including young ones, so be mindful to that fact when speaking in Guild Chat and in Vent.- With the release of Cata, we have changed our guild structure to better suit the game play style of Cata.
- We now have 2 types of members, regular members that are in guild for more of a social drive and those that are here for the progression elements, raiding, guild achievements and progression. Please Note:Registering your toon on our website is required for full members!
- Members are entitled to guild bank items for assistance in leveling professions and/or crafting gear. Where it is not "required" for members to raid, members who wish to raid are placed on a wait list and are only worked in when available.
- Raiders are entitled more access to the guild bank and qualify for guild repairs as well as discounted prices for flasks and buff items while in raid. Raiders take priority over members and pugs in raid groups.
- As in most guilds the more one contributes to the guild as a whole the more one will get out of the guild.
- Where raiding is not a “requirement” for guild members, we have formed groups for core raiders with raid progression as the primary focus. Running weekly raids and more.
- We will be making more changes in the guild as we progress forward under the new leadership of Gabriel the guild will be making a hard right turn towards guild progression.
- We now have a Daily Guild Repair allowance for all members. The higher your rank in the guild the higher allowance you have.

We will be raiding various content every week. If you are interested in raiding please contact Gãbriel or SkyDeMan in game ASAP. If your gear is too low to start raiding then we need to put you in groups for gear grinding (save your justice points folks, they play a big part in getting your gear up!).
We are starting to recruit Raiders for our Cata Raid team, anyone interested in this Core Raid Group MUST fill out an application (located in our forums section).
Raid dates and times are:Raid dates and time will be decided by the core raid group, based on the majority votes of those members that are Core Raiders.
Loot rules will be clearly stated in raid. If you have any comments or questions please contact an officer in game, if none are on send an email to Gãbriel.

Getting your toon raid ready is not difficult, the amount of effort you put into your toon shows how far you are willing to go to reach end game content.
The first thing you should work on is knowing your toon based on your class and spec. Have a good rotation and learn how to use it.
There are thousands of forums out there that can help you with this, elitestjerks.com is a great resource, if you dont find what you like there, hell google it. As much as our officers like to help people, they can't do it all for you, stop being lazy and hook yourself up.
The second thing for getting raid ready, GEAR! It's so easy a caveman could do it (lol). Firstly, save ALL your justice points to get upgraded gear. Go to http://elitistjerks.com/rawr.php, if you have not already you will need to download microsoft silverlight (it will prompt you if you do not have it installed). It's a reader similar to java, video codex and so on. Just makes you able to read the data. Once you've done this, pull up your toon. You will see on the left hand side all the gear you are currently wearing and on the right you'll see a list of gear you can upgrade to. I strongly suggest you look through the list of gear and build yourself a "wish list" (write it down on paper if you must). Start with any and all "free gear" you can get. What I call "free gear" is gear that you can get through doing instances regular or heroic, because this gear doesn't cost any money or justice points to get, it's gear you can grind for everyday if need be until you get it. Another great thing about this program is that it will tell you what the best gems and enchants are for you based on the current gear you have on. Keep in mind that as you upgrade your gear your gems may change as well, so keep an eye on it.
The third thing would be knowing the fights! Great place to learn about the encounters is tankspot.com, they have videos you can watch on each fight/encounter as well as written information on the encounters, We don't expect you to watch one video and be able to march through and encounter blind-folded, but it offers great intel on the mechanics of the encounters. I believe that you can't really learn a fight/encounter until you've defeated it yourself. Also check our youtune channel; www.youtube.com/sunsofanubis.
And the final thing to getting raid ready is attitude! Be mature about things. If you get passed over or asked to leave a raid, there is always a reason that sometimes has nothing to do with you or your performance so don't get pissed and have a hissy-fit. The raid leaders have to do what's best for the entire group, whether that means asking a few members to step out or just calling a raid all together. If you are asked to step out and your not sure why, just ask, our raid leaders and officers will gladly take time out of their day to help you correct anything that may need to be corrected. All I ask is to be mature about it, be strong pick yourself back up, dust off and we'll help you get where you need to be. We're not about "carrying" anyone through raids, we're about working together as a team to reach our goals.
